Backend engineer building consumer-facing products at scale for Reddit.
You'll design and ship backend systems powering Reddit's core user experiences—from feeds and discovery to notifications and onboarding—working across product, design, data, and mobile teams. This role requires 3+ years of hands-on distributed systems experience and deep expertise in scalable API design, high-throughput data layers, and A/B testing. You'll own the full lifecycle of major features in a fully remote environment, balancing velocity with system reliability while leveraging modern tooling.
