Senior browser engine specialist for experimental new products and systems research.
Join Mozilla's New Products team as a hands-on browser systems engineer. You'll design and prototype deep engine-level changes, investigate performance tradeoffs, and run controlled experiments to validate novel capabilities. The role requires mastery of browser internals (DOM, layout, rendering, or runtime), strong C++/Rust skills, and an experimental mindset. You'll work closely with a small technical team, measure all claims rigorously, and help shape Firefox's technical direction.
