What we store about you

Account: your email address (used for sign-in via magic link).
Membership: your Stripe customer and subscription IDs. Card details are held by Stripe, never by us.
Job alerts: your email and chosen filters (job type, work style, countries), plus when we last emailed you.

That's it. No tracking profiles, no advertising identifiers, no data resale.

What we deliberately do not store

Our crawler indexes publicly available job listings, and is built to strip personal data: we do not store recruiter names, email addresses, or phone numbers from the listings we index. Job data is limited to the role itself (title, location, rate, stack, summary) and a link to the original page.

Legal bases (GDPR)

We process your email and payment data to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and send alert emails based on your explicit double-opt-in consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw with one click via the unsubscribe link in every email.

Processors we use

Supabase (database and authentication, EU region), Stripe (payments), Resend (email, EU region eu-west-1), Vercel (hosting). Each processes data under their own GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data at any time via alerts@insidejobs.tech. Deleting your account removes your email, alert preferences, and membership record; Stripe retains payment records as required by tax law. You may lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Dutch DPA) or your local supervisory authority.

Listing removal (for agencies)

If a listing on InsideJobs links to your website and you want it removed, email us — we delist promptly and permanently. Suppression is stored as a hash of the listing URL, not as personal data.
